  The Hoover Chair stimulates reflection on ethics in economics and society through the organization of research and teaching activities (certificate, study days, conferences, etc). The Chair's name recalls Herbert Hoover, who administered the Commission for the Relief of Belgium (1914) and was President of the United States between 1929 and 1933.
