Centre Wallon de biologie industrielle (CWBI)
  The CWBI develops and promotes products and techniques in relation with biotechnologies. It investigates, develops and industrializes all phases for production and usage of microorganisms, vegetal cells and subcellular fractions derived from them. The CWBI results from a collaboration between the University of Liège (ULg) and the University Faculty of Agronomy in Gembloux (FSAGx).

Common Access to Biological Resources and Information (CABRI)
  CABRI (Common Access to Biological Resources and Information) is a demonstration project funded by the European Union for the period 1996-1999. CABRI main goals are to increase awareness among scientific users of the quality and variety of European culture collections and to facilitate access to information and material. To reach these goals, the project has implemented a unified access to culture collection catalogues of participating collections, while also guaranteeing a common level of quality of material and related information. The Belgian CABRI partner is the BCCM (Belgian Coordinated Collections of Micro-Organisms), which is financed by the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office.
